We’re hiring an Operations Manager to take ownership of Aaron’s Towing day-to-day operations—leading drivers, managing performance, and keeping the operation running at a high level.

You’ll work directly alongside leadership and collaborate across multiple brands under Valor Fleet Services, giving you the backing of a larger organization while owning a critical piece of the business.

This role is for someone who can lead from the front, solve problems fast, and hold a team accountable.

What You’ll Own

• Day-to-day towing operations for Aaron’s Towing
• Direct oversight of drivers (15–20 operators) and field performance
• Driver productivity, scheduling, staffing, and accountability
• Supporting dispatch operations and resolving real-time issues
• Handling client needs, escalations, and service requests
• Jumping in on special projects and operational support as needed
• Working closely with other departments and leadership across Valor Fleet Services
• Reporting directly to leadership and executing on operational priorities

• Work with reports, dashboards, and Excel (training provided where needed)
• Turn basic data into real operational improvements

The Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating and dispatching operators and equipment for emergency and non-emergency towing and roadside service calls. This role requires efficient communication, accurate tracking of resources, and the ability to prioritize multiple requests in a fast-paced environment. The Dispatcher works closely with call center staff, operators, customers, and management to ensure timely service delivery while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service.

Essential Functions

• Dispatch operators and equipment for emergency and non-emergency service requests.
• Monitor and track the status and location of all assigned units using dispatch software and GPS systems.
• Communicate service details, instructions, and updates to operators and field personnel.
• Provide accurate estimated times of arrival (ETAs) and notify customers of delays when necessary.
• Answer, transfer, and manage incoming phone calls professionally and in a timely manner.
• Relay call information clearly to call center personnel, operators, and other team members.
• Assist customers with vehicle release procedures while following company policies and documentation requirements.
• Ensure all call documentation is accurate and complete, including vehicle information, photos, notes, and payment details.
• Work with Dispatch Support personnel to verify all required information is entered before calls are closed.
• Coordinate with partner companies when necessary to ensure efficient service coverage.
• Maintain awareness of resource availability and strategically stage units to optimize service response times.
• Report equipment, personnel, or scheduling concerns to management.
• Provide shift updates and proper turnover to the next dispatcher to ensure continuity of operations.
• May lead dispatch operations during a shift in the absence of a Manager or Shift Leader.
• Maintain professionalism and follow company policies when interacting with customers, coworkers, and management.

This position is ideal for a motivated professional with hands-on experience in diagnosing and repairing heavy-duty diesel equipment in a fast-paced environment.

Position Overview

The Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for performing maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a diverse fleet of heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and equipment. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repair on fleet vehicles, trailers, and heavy equipment in both shop and field environments

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems

• Troubleshoot issues on equipment including Kenworth tractors, Freightliner M2 trucks, medium-duty trucks, trailers, and skid steers

• Maintain accurate and detailed service records for all work performed

• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment

• Communicate effectively regarding repair needs, timelines, and equipment status

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in diesel, truck, or heavy equipment repair

• Proven ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems

• Must be at least 21 years of age

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively 

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)

• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening

• Strong work ethic with reliability and punctuality

• Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week

• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and team-focused

• Must possess own tools
